There is also proactive patrolling of areas to address issues such as roaming dogs.

  • Working within the Dog Control Act 1996, and Auckland Council policy and procedures to ensure compliance and public safety.

What you will bring:

  • Strong customer service and conflict management skills, with a calm approach
  • Demonstrated capability to deal with aggressive dogs and other animals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and resolve situations when they arise
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and other software
