Our client is an established & renowned leading multinational supplier in the electrical industry, with a true global footprint that extends across more than 30 countries across the globe. The company is experiencing exciting growth, leading to the creation of a new national business development opportunity to launch the business in New Zealand market.

Position & Responsibilities

Reporting directly into Australia, the NZ National Business Development Manager will be responsible for launching this multinational giant into the New Zealand market. You will engage with tier 1 Electrical Contractors, Consulting Firms, OEMs and Industrial End Users across NZ. You will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining client relationships across these key client groups and identifying potential new business and project opportunities in the market.

This role has a heavy emphasis on account development, working closely with clients, assessing requirements and tendering for projects. Success will ultimately lead to an opportunity to scale the NZ business, with considerable role development and career advancement opportunity.


  • Demonstrated business development / project sales experience in the New Zealand electrical market
  • Proven & demonstratedtrack record of success
  • Strong knowledge and contacts with tier 1 Electrical Contractors, Consultants, OEMs and End Users across NZ
  • Highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to build and develop tangible long term commercial relationships.

The Offer

The successful applicant will receive a base salary of $90,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience, a Fully Maintained Company Vehicle and a lucrative incentive structure, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with a leading global organisation!
