Construction Project Administrator and Accounts Support Person

We are looking for a skilled Project Administrator, ideally with building/construction knowledge and experience, to take care of the administration required for the operations side of the company.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient running of the office by providing administrative support to the project team as well as general office management.

Your role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Assisting the project management team by managing purchase orders for materials for new projects

- Manage the supplier invoice process ensuring matching up data against purchase orders

- Collating all project information into appropriate filing systems

- Assisting finance with data entry and accounts processing

- Preparation of expense claims

- Maintaining office supplies such as stationery, kitchen and general consumables

- Support to Managing Director and General Manger as required

- General office management as required


You will need to be professional, friendly and hard working. The ability to work autonomously and be pro-active are essential. Our ideal applicant will have excellent communication & organizational skills, good computer skills and the ability to work alongside anybody.

Preference will be given to candidates from a construction /engineering background with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, and solid experience with Xero and Workflowmax.
