Hanlon Plumbing Ltd is looking for an experienced office administrator to join the team. The successful applicant will provide a positive first impression at reception as well as provide administrative support.

Hanlon Plumbing Ltd is New Zealand's largest commercial plumbing company, providing quality commercial plumbing for clients across the greater Auckland area.

There is an opportunity for a full-time Office Administrator / Receptionist role at our Glenfield based office.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Being the first point of contact for visitors
  • Answering the phone and transferring calls
  • Providing support for the administrative team and back-up for the Service Scheduler
  • Fleet Management
  • Managing staff amenities, stationery and petty cash
  • General administration including, but not limited to, scanning, printing and filing
  • Administer Company Social Club

Skills and experience:

  • At least 5 years' experience as an Administrator or Receptionist in a professional environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Be competent in MS Office and proficient at data entry
  • Have the ability to prioritise, multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • Be flexible, willing to help the team where necessary and open to change

This is a particularly busy office role where you will need to apply your confidence, initiative and professional manner.

Hours are 8.30am 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
