ARIDON Ltd launched in the market three years ago bringing international best practice building techniques to the New Zealand market. Market demand is strong and we require an Auckland Operations/Commercial Manager to assist with running our national operation. The ARIDON SMART WALL system is an all-in-one super insulated rigid air barrier that is used across both commercial and residential builds. The system supports any cladding system on the market and is fully BRANZ appraised. The company has its own in-house install team as well as a growing number of approved installers around the country.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Coming in at a senior level reporting to the CEO this is both a business development and operations role. You will successfully run the small installation team, build your own team and secure new business. You will be able to prospect for new clients, provide quotations, manage projects including purchase of materials, programme and resource jobs and liaise with clients. You will be fully conversant in the policies, procedures, and documentation associated with commercial and residential construction. You will influence the company at the highest level, providing strategic advice on some of the company's most important projects.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • At least 10 years' experience within commercial and residential construction
  • 4 + years New Zealand experience desirable
  • Licensed Building Practitioner essential as a minimum with tertiary qualification desirable
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Ambitious personality by nature as there is significant opportunity to grow with this business
