We are looking for a software savvy accounting assistant, who will also be providing support to clients and other team members on a variety of work as required. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are critical.

Key responsibilites of the role include:

  • Coding of transactions, including data entry
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of GST returns
  • Processing accounts payable & receivables
  • Supporting and training clients with accounting software
  • Other accounting tasks as required
  • Preparation of marketing proposals

Experience with Microsoft Office necessary and familiarity with online accounting packages (such as XERO, Reckon & MYOB) is desirable.

This is a full-time role and is expected to start late January 2017.
