Terra Sancta is a dynamic wine company based in Bannockburn, Central Otago. We are seeking an energetic, positive person with the drive to organise and get things done to join our talented team on a permanent, part time basis. The role will also involve working for a related Terra Sancta brand, The Village Press olive oil company.  

Your role sits at the heart of the smooth functioning of the business and you will have responsibility for our bookkeeping and business support:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Credit control
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • GST, PAYE
  • Payroll
  • Excise tax and other compliance related administration
  • Team expenses

You will also have responsibility for ensuring accurate inventory records and provide sales support including:

  • Monthly stock takes and consolidated stock reports
  • Inventory management including SKU allocation
  • Support for processing customer orders
  • Collating sales information and preparing sales reports

Applicants must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Experience with accounting software packages, with Xero a plus
  • Previous use and comfort using Apple Mac computers, gmail and google docs - we do not use Microsoft and are cloud base
  • Experience preparing spreadsheets
  • A proven track record of bookkeeping and comfort with numbers
  • First rate written and verbal English language skills.
  • Good communicator
  • Positive outlook and team player

You must also have an eagle eye for detail, be highly organised,

collaborative and enjoy providing support in a team environment.

The role is based in our Bannockburn winery, 5 minutes from Cromwell, Central Otago and will report to the both the Terra Sancta owners, and, on a day-to-day basis, the head of business administration.   It is expected that the role is 30 hours a week.
